DESCRIPTION:ADVANCED SWAT/TACTICAL TEAM LEADER\n\n4 DAYS, 48 HOURS (12-hour days)
\n\nTCOLE REPORTED TROUGH NAVARRO POLICE ACADEMY\n\nThis course is designed for Law Enforcement SWAT Operators who have completed Basic SWAT, and are wanting to advance your tactical skills, participate in a leadership role and assist with mission planning.\n\nThis class consists of numerous theory and lecture sessions, range drills coupled with intense planning and execution of advanced tactical operations. Students will be involved in the planning and preparation of all exercises. The objective is to bring the class to a high level of performance such as the execution of Sniper Initiated, Explosive Breach, Multiple Entry Point Exercises. Further the student will understand the planning and leadership of such operations.\n\nExercises are intense with Live Fire and after dark movement to simulate real world conditions.\n\nDAY ONE\n\n - Tactical Leadership/Tactical Operations Overview

\nDAY TWO \n\n - Essential Range Drills
\n - Contact Drills/Small Unit Tactics
\n - Contact on Approach
\n - Tactical Options (Shoot house)
\n - Breaching Options (Breaching Range)
\n - Considerations, Planning, Rehearsal and Execution of a High-Risk Warrant
\n
\nDAY THREE\n\n - Essential Range Drills
\n - Shield Drills
\n - Room Entry w/ Shields/Masks (Shoot house)
\n - Distraction Devices
\n - Considerations, Planning, Rehearsal and Execution of a Barricaded Person Situation
\n
\nDAY FOUR\n\n - Essential Range Drills
\n - Advanced Interior Movement/Man Down/Hasty Extractions
\n - Introduction to Explosive Breaching
\n - Considerations, Planning, Rehearsal and Execution of a Hostage Rescue
\n - Final Exam, Cleanup and Graduate
\n
\nEQUIPMENT:\n\n - Issued SWAT Gear to include ballistic tactical vest, helmet, belt rig and holster, gas mask, pistol/rifle, 3 mags per weapon, eye/ear protection, gloves
\n - 700 Rounds ( 300 Pistol Rounds - 400 Rifle Rounds )
\n - Optional Flash Bang from your agency (you will deploy it)
\n - Ballistic Shield, If available
\n - PVS-14 or issued NVG if available
\n - Food/Water for 12-hour training days
\n - Whatever you need to sustain yourself on long hour operations
\n - We have some loaner gear on hand
