DESCRIPTION:Texas DPS LTC Course\n\nClassroom and Range Proficiency\n\nEverything you need to qualify for the Texas DPS License to Carry a Handgun.\n\nThis course includes the 4 required blocks of instruction in the classroom, and the handgun proficiency test on the range.\n\nClass begins at 09:00am, and will end about 3:00pm.  We will hold breaks each hour – Bring your lunch as we will continue class.\n\n<strong><u>Bring with you for the Course:</u></strong>\n<ul>\n 	<li><strong>State of Texas-Issued Photo Identification (example, TXDL, or TXID)</strong></li>\n 	<li>Writing Pen or Pencil</li>\n 	<li>Note taking materials of your choice, no video, please.</li>\n 	<li><strong>UNLOADED</strong> firearm – Minimum .22 cal or larger - Pistol or Revolver– no live ammo in the classroom.</li>\n 	<li>1-empty magazine if using a semi-auto handgun</li>\n 	<li>50-rounds that you know will work in your handgun.</li>\n 	<li><strong>Eye and Ear protection</strong></li>\n 	<li>Baseball cap</li>\n 	<li>Closed toe shoes</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n 	<li>Shirts with a button collar, polo-style or similar.  No low-cut shirts or blouses.</li>\n 	<li>Shorts are allowed with discretion.  No shorts cut above the mid-thigh.  Call with any questions.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n 	<li>Food and Water for the day</li>\n</ul>\n<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1714 aligncenter" src="https://weaponsacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Screenshot-2024-01-14-005306-241x300.png" alt="" width="241" height="300" />
