Tactical Knife/Stick/Baton/Pistol Close Range Fighting and Defense

Tim Bulot has over 50 years’ experience in the Martial Arts and over 45 years in Law Enforcement!  In this class we link this lifetime knowledge together to bring you this exciting event!

This class is conducted mostly indoors with some range work.

Learn just how similar Bladed weapons and Impact weapons can be!  We will train with and compare to the pistol as well.  When the firearm is not an option, and empty hand is not effective, stick and knife bridge the gap.  Learn all defensive options for close range. Fighting with is to better understand defending against!

This system is based on concepts borrowed from several martial arts that I have practiced over decades of time.  The techniques are dynamic and the class is physically demanding.  This system is easy to learn and easy to apply, no wasted motion here, just simple but practical techniques rooted in proven principles of the blade/stick.

Learn proper body mechanics of cutting and striking to generate maximum power, needed in a life/death situation.

You may bring your own training blade and baton, wooden, rubber, plastic or polymer, no sharp points or edges.  If not I have many and may provide you with a training blade.  We have several loaner batons and escrima sticks.  Eye protection is required.  There is some live fire handgun as we link weapons systems in our courses, understanding all options and how/when/why you may need to transition.

You will need your Every Day Carry gear, or you Range Gear, Handgun, 3 Magazines, 50 rounds ammo (if you don’t have ammo you can run this course dry fire) Eye and Ear Protection and Food/Water for the day.  You may bring your personal training weapon.  We will provide striking shields and bags.  We also have expandable/collapsible batons.  Bring your own if you have one.
